Carter Lindstrom
Growing up, Carter watched his father play drums and percussion, and he wanted to emulate similar skills.
Over the course of 7 years, he joined his middle and high school bands, playing in the percussion section, including jazz and marching band, performing in a sea of concerts and field shows. All the while, he learned to play multiple percussion instruments from xylophone to timpani to the classic drum set.
In marching band, Carter spent 2 years as the battery captain of his high school drumline, having the pleasure of studying under a number of mentors - one receiving a bachelor's degree in music theory and others who spent years in professional drum corps units.
Besides spending time playing music, he enjoys listening to classic rock, jazz, bluegrass, and the occasional film score. Overall, he is excited to impart both mechanical knowhow and the fun that comes with his love for music.
